User Research

User research was based interviews with fellow adult gamers and the difficulties they had when purchasing gaming equipment. The biggest pain point was having the time to go out and purchase equipment at store, the stress of returns and feeling secure about about making the purchases since many online stores were not focused on gaming and those that were at a high end price point.

Pain Points

  • Lack of time to purchase gaming equipment online
  • Stress of returns if the equipment doesn't work
  • Feeling unsure about making purchase due to lack of expertise by the staff
